Ambitious and marvelously curated, this annual independent film festival offers unique events and a lineup of films that otherwise wouldn’t be screened in Philadelphia. This year’s Cinedelphia roster includes a “retrospective/reunion” event celebrating ’90s cult TV show Eerie, Indiana (including members of the cast), a feature on a witch trial in Zambia called I Am Not a Witch, a documentary on the infamous punk rock family The Allins (as in G.G.) and for fans of The Room, there’s a screening of Greg Sistero’s new film Best F(r)iends Volume One and a live reading of the Room script.
