MisterPrickly on werewolf mythology in popular culture
I've only ever ONCE seen a werewolf movie or TV show where the monster gets shot with a silver bullet and lives.

Eerie Indiana had a werewolf episode where the beast gets shot in the foot and is cured; HOWEVER he has to keep the bullet in his foot or else the cure returns.
