SitcomsOnline message board: The 20 Biggest Mess-Ups/Mistakes in NBC History
NBC seemed to have a sleeper on their hands during the 1991-1992 season with Eerie, Indiana, which starred Omri Katz as 13-year-old Marshall Teller, who believed his new hometown was full of various oddities. The series was mired in the 7 PM or 7:30 PM timeslots on Sundays and was either pre-empted by NFL Football or had incompatible lead-ins or lead-outs, such as "The Adventures of Mark & Brian and "The Torkelsons". As a result, the series did not attract any following on the network and didn't find new life until the reruns started appearing on the Disney Channel and on FOX Kids well after the end of its inital run.
