Earthbound Meets Eerie, Indiana in YIIK: PAX 2015 Preview
Party like it’s 1999 in YIIK, the 3D Japanese-style turn based RPG from Ackk Studios! Follow the journey of a post-collegiate hipster that needs to get his life together as you battle bullies and try not to get too distracted by the girl from that message board on the internet. The story may sound familiar, but it definitely isn’t your standard RPG.
Thanks for the Eerie, Indiana reference; that show was like Pete & Pete on salvia. Game looks great, thanks for finding the games that I want to play. My one worry is that combat will feel too slow....while a lot is going on, I could see battles taking a long time, hope the battles aren't very often or it'll start to feel like a tactical RPG (gross, I wanted to love you Disgaea, but just couldn't).
On a side note, you and Max Scoville should have 90s-off battle.
