Todd found the spoon wedged into the very back of the utensil drawer. It was wooden, old and well used, the bowl smooth with use. He gripped the handle as he returned to his station, dry ingredients ready to be added to the wet, broken plastic spoon cast aside. As he tipped the dry ingredients into the wet and slowly began stirring, the spoon seemed to guide his hand. He relaxed into the feeling, letting this old, well used utensil teach him all it knew.

And in the end, the Wilson twins agreed Todd's was the best cake.
