Such a gripping read! The ability to mix humour and plotting so well is a rare one. This book kept me turning the pages and laughing at the same time. The dialogue! This is likely to be a bedtime-destroyer - the perfect book to read with a torch while pretending to turn the lights out and go to sleep... It manages to combine elements of the X-files, Twin Peaks, Eerie Indiana (if anyone else remembers that, best show for kids when I was growing up) and Stranger Things. It has a great friendship at its heart, a wonderful baddie, and... [self censored due to spoilers but....that ending!]
