It would be interesting to plot the family tree of cult tv through the 90s from Twin Peaks through X-Files, Buffy, DS9, Babylon 5 and all the little off-shoots like Wild Palms, The Outer Limits, Dark Skies, Eerie Indiana etc up to the Doctor Who relaunch, Lost, BSG in the 2000s
