Gone But Not Forgotten: Keysmash Blog on cancelled TV shows
2) Eerie, Indiana (1991-1992)
This was such a unique show, I think it probably just never found the right niche audience. It would have worked better on cable than on network TV. It was satire of horror and science fiction shows. Set in Eerie, Indiana (population 16,661), it focused on a teenager named Marshall Teller, whose family just moved to Eerie from New Jersey. Eerie⦠is a weird place. Marshall encounters all kinds of bizarre things in Eerie, like Big Foot and Elvis and a pack of intelligent dogs, and one of the main characters is a prematurely gray-haired teenager.
