PNE Online forum posted asks, could Jim Morrison or Elvis still be alive?

There are always silly rumours and possible sightings about these two, the most recent being that Jim Morrison was living as a down and out in New York and that Elvis was working as a gardener. Surely if either were still alive, they would have arranged one way or other to see out their lives comfortably on their royalties? I can't imagine that if someone like Morrison faked his death to live anonymously, why would he choose to do so in just about the most populated city in the world? My point is, does anyone think there could just be any truth to either of these two still being alive? If so, how would they manage to pull it off, if not, what would make it impossible?
