thank you :) I loved how silly some of the "monsters" were - the mummy who was just a dude in a movie costume, the bank robber whose finest act of criminality was ripping off a free toaster. jd (jersey devil totally calls himself jd, hes that guy) is just continuing a long tradition of somewhat lacklustre legends in the EI verse
