Quotes from the Eerie Indiana Discord
Deifire: Since the rest of the Foreverware ladies are still out there, did they recruit a new 90s lady? Also, is there a 00s lady and what would that look like?
Friend of Dorothy: the 2000s lady wears a juciy velour tracksuit and gucci sunglasses send tweet
Friend of Dorothy: the only other new arrival in town i can think of is Melanie's mother...Maybe they were like the modern day mlm boss babe and recruited mrs wilde
Eviinsanemonkey: okay but also: how did betty wilson convince these women to seal themselves in tupperware? in "the hole in the head gang" when winnie is talking to her daughter i took that as implying they do that and ??? How do you get from "vacuum seal your leftovers" to "vacuum seal yourselves"??
Friend of Dorothy: i mean all cults are kind of like that aren't they? if you mix a strong personality with a selection of lonely, unfulfilled housewives then i guess i could believe it
Deifire: the older I get, the more I get it. There are a lot reasons (some of which I've read and/or written) that could make sense: lost a child and want to keep the rest of them safe (which it would totally make sense for Devon's mom to go down the Foreverware path), wanting to stave off a chronic illness, had someone disappear under mysterious circumstances and this is the extreme version of keeping everything in their room/the house the same until they get back. Maybe two of them are in love and waiting for society to change. And just...getting old kinda sucks.
