Does anyone else remember Eerie, Indiana? in my (totally unbiased and not at all formed when I was around 8 years old) opinion it’s probably the best horror show for children, surpassing Are You Afraid of the Dark and Goosebumps. it only ran for one season (I didn’t watch the 1998 spin-off) because it was too good to last. Every episode was so creative and it balanced humor with some genuinely creepy atmosphere. Please understand all I’m saying here is from a child’s perspective because I haven’t seen it in forever, but isn’t a child’s perspective what matters? Still, if I find the episodes online I’ll rewatch it this October.
