Oh my god, the are you afraid of the dark episode with the bloody clown nose! Ooh what about eerie Indiana?
— Stealth Kaiju (@KaijuStealth) November 5, 2020
Eerie Indiana was so good!
— James Marsh, tired. (@Jamesotron) November 5, 2020
Eerie, Indiana was superb. Still have so much love for that show - the right blend of nonsense and "wait, no, that's actually terrifying".
— Karl Thurgood (@KarlThurgood) November 5, 2020
what is dry grass fantasy? it is:
— ⚝ vorsprung durch zauberkraft ⚝ (@inobscurity) November 12, 2020
it
eerie indiana
stranger things
papergirls
return of the living dead 2 (maybe?)
aquila
many (but not all) episodes of goosebumps and are you afraid of the dark
earthbound
to be fair, the main reason you haven't heard this term is because i made it up, and have mostly only used it in private conversations
— ⚝ vorsprung durch zauberkraft ⚝ (@inobscurity) November 12, 2020
i'm thinking of writing something about it someday so i can be a famous term-coiner though lol
you should because I don't think there's any other way to describe this stuff other than saying "it's like, a spielbergian, joe dante type thing"

How two anthology shows made a new generation of horror fans https://t.co/9Jx6YFtr8Q via @syfy
— R.L. Stine (@RL_Stine) November 1, 2020
This article does Eerie, Indiana dirty.
— davidwerewolf (@QuickerMcWild) November 1, 2020
Or maybe Eerie is just bigger in my mind than it was with other kids of my generation. https://t.co/Ts4l3ytRnd
I'm watching the "Scariest Home Videos" episode of Eerie, Indiana. Any of you ever seen this episode and notice the trick or treater wearing the Zeebo the Clown mask from AYAOTD? pic.twitter.com/iPyNPupCkP
— Spooky Double A But Not Arn Anderson (@PrAaHe) October 31, 2020
@DJMacHale How did this happen?
— Spooky Double A But Not Arn Anderson (@PrAaHe) October 31, 2020
I’m genuinely so curious now. This is so wild
— 🧟♀️90s Court Pod🧟♂️ (@90sCourt) October 31, 2020
Me too. I'm googling but all i can find is some other dude on reddit who noticed it too.
— Spooky Double A But Not Arn Anderson (@PrAaHe) October 31, 2020
It’s crazy that it went from “oh hey that’s fun” to “woahhhhh....how did this happen!?!” So quick
— 🧟♀️90s Court Pod🧟♂️ (@90sCourt) October 31, 2020
Even weirder when you know Eerie, Indiana was filmed in Studio City, California and AYAOTD was filmed in Quebec. It had to be on purpose since they weren't filming anywhere near each other and didn't just find a cool mask in a prop box by chance.
— Spooky Double A But Not Arn Anderson (@PrAaHe) October 31, 2020
I figured it out thanks to someone in a facebook group.
— Spooky Double A But Not Arn Anderson (@PrAaHe) October 31, 2020
Zeebos mask was from a mask designer called Don Post. The mask was not created for the episode. It was literally a complete coincidence.
This is from the 1991 catalog.https://t.co/xw21ycvZuo pic.twitter.com/Kv1rEGbe2W
Don Post also created the mask for Michael Myers.

Du har Seinfeld-generasjonen, så har du F.R.I.E.N.D.S-generasjonen,så har du How I met your mother-generasjonen, og etter det har du youtube-unger,og nå har de tiktok-babies.
— apocalypserider (@elfhybrid_) October 28, 2020
Hva om jeg er alle generasjonene, men også Eerie, Indiana, Are You Afraid of the Dark og Animorphs?
— Løytnant Spøøøøkerud (@SuzyLemmingroad) October 28, 2020
Da er du nudelig❤
— apocalypserider (@elfhybrid_) October 28, 2020
Are you afraid of the dark?
— ᵃᵇᵇʸ ˡʸᶰᶰ👽 (@AbbyVx) October 28, 2020
Or
Goosebumps?
Goosebumps got more of a library to choose from but are you afraid of the dark only went for 1 season as I remember. Still good tho.
— CHOP CHOP (@CHOPCHOP187) October 28, 2020
Actually that might’ve been eerie Indiana that only went for 1 season lol
— CHOP CHOP (@CHOPCHOP187) October 28, 2020
I think watching this is what I’m going to do today. +weed +food pic.twitter.com/vD8zyRAFV0

— Chris Wyble 🎮 (@dude_largepants) October 24, 2020
I've never seen eerie indiana but lives goosebumps and are you afraid of the dark
— Elle 🍁 (@EllexMay) October 24, 2020
It was essentially Goosebumps, but it all happened to one kid.
— Chris Wyble 🎮 (@dude_largepants) October 24, 2020
I know I saw a few episodes, but I don't remember it very well, I just remember it was very good. Will be interested to know if that still stands.
— Adrian (@AdrianWarner777) October 24, 2020
Only seen a few episodes myself, I want Elle to watch it with me but she won't. We are going to watch Goosebumps again though she agreed to that.
— James Fryatt (@james_fryatt) October 24, 2020
ROFL, well hopefully she'll fancy watching it soon.
— Adrian (@AdrianWarner777) October 24, 2020
I'm really into Horror Anthology Series that are family friendly, like Goosebumps, Are You Afraid of the Dark, and Eerie Indiana. Just discovered Nickelodeon's Deadtime Stories, and Loving it, it's available for Rent on YouTube!!!! pic.twitter.com/dLrXgBnU2W
— Joe Ledoux (@joeledoux) October 19, 2020

_____ is the scariest TV show I've ever seen.
— Nerdist (@nerdist) October 7, 2020
Are You Afraid of the Dark?
— Joshua Zinn (@HPMZinn) October 7, 2020
The original series aired at just the right time in my youth when I had a vividly active imagination, so several episodes stuck with me for weeks after. Nothing on TV has quite hit the same way since.
Yes!! That, Goosebumps & Eerie Indiana also lightweight freaked me out as a kid! And then there was tales from the crypt...and unsolved mysteries! 😂
— Alyssa Benton 👑🐝 (@LyssyBee) October 8, 2020
I couldn't watch goosebumps at all when I was little. Just the opening was enough to scare me when I was little. 😅
— Pink Ranger (Flutflut) (@Flutflut1) October 5, 2020
Watch 'Are You Afraid of the Dark'
— RedVicStan (🎃The Ghoulish💀)🐈⬛ (@Redvicstan) October 5, 2020
I was too scared to watch that too.😅 But now I watch ghost shows. LoL
— Pink Ranger (Flutflut) (@Flutflut1) October 5, 2020
How about....'Eerie Indiana'?
— RedVicStan (🎃The Ghoulish💀)🐈⬛ (@Redvicstan) October 5, 2020
Eerie Indiana or Are You Afraid of the Dark?
— VVO)))LFMAN (@TheWolfman) September 23, 2020
Eerie Indiana is overall better but it doesn’t have Dr. Vink.
— Evan (@EVComedy) September 23, 2020
Episode 4 is here and we're tackling the childhood wounds inflicted on us by '80s and '90s television! Listen in and then tell us about your children's tv trauma!https://t.co/9QKUE1ln8p pic.twitter.com/GwlM7dsigP
— 💀Jack Of All Graves💀 (@JackOfAllGraves) September 21, 2020
Are You Afraid of the Dark, Eerie Indiana, Punky Brewster... just a few of the nightmare inducing tv shows of our youth we discuss in this episode. https://t.co/p81q95VEsp
— 🕯️☠️GORE-igan☠️🕯️ (@JustCorri) September 21, 2020
Not weird but the entire opening sequence to Are You Afraid of the Dark was spleen clenching https://t.co/7UtkzK0yRZ pic.twitter.com/eF0634oEUu
— Jen🛸 (@jennybean___) September 12, 2020
So good wasn’t it! That and Eerie Indiana had my nerves shot

In the Halloween episode of Eerie, Indiana one of the trick or treaters is wearing a Zeebo the clown mask!!!!!!!
— fesh! (@fesh__) September 11, 2020
Next video. I am thinking of talking about Are You Afraid Of The Dark or Goosebumps. What should I go with? #AreYouAfraidOfTheDark #Goosebumps #HorrorFamily #MutantFam #SpreadTheHorror #HorrorReviews #HorrorFriends
— Useless Knowledge (@CaseyDoesItBest) September 3, 2020
You really should do one on Eerie Indiana. Amazing horror show for kids on fox around the Goosebumps time 💯💯
— Michael Rodriguez (@MikeR1139) September 4, 2020
Truth: I never watched that show. I should though cause now I have heard nothing but good things.
— Useless Knowledge (@CaseyDoesItBest) September 4, 2020
Can we discuss the viewing habits of 80s and 90s kids? I was an 8 year old who could speak at length about The Thundercats and The Golden Girls. At 15, I’d watch Batman: TAS and these ladies. The networks controlled us!!! https://t.co/QhhWnJaVOI
— Lamar Giles (@LRGiles) September 3, 2020
So Weird. Are You Afraid of the Dark. Eerie, Indiana. Courage the Cowardly Dog. Basically anything spooky. I also quickly learned that X-Files was too scary for me when I accidentally watched an episode with Eugene Tooms.
— actuALLY a witch (@AllyOutThere) September 4, 2020
You know what that show was scary idc the kid who froze to death and the guy who stole parents souls with his camera to stay young and chase their daughters and the girl with the dead twin and silver necklace
— great horse king (@sneeetches) August 31, 2020
No idea what show you’re talking about lol. Sounds like a series of Goosebumps or Eerie, Indiana episodes lol
— 𝙺𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚎 𝚆𝚎𝚋𝚋 (@Gorgon_Katie) August 31, 2020
Considering I grew up with Are You Afraid of the Dark, Stephen King, Eerie Indiana, X-Files, and goosebumps is it any wonder I grew up to be a horror fanatic.

— Coma Chameleon 🌹 (@EHConspiracy) July 2, 2020

This show was called Eerie Indiana. I liked it a lot when I was a kid. I don’t really remember it. Are you Afraid of the Dark is better tho. 💚

I heard that aspiring authors sometimes feel left out of the #writingcommunity because they don’t have links to published work they can share... so let’s do this differently😍
— Morgan Wright (@byMorganWright) July 3, 2020
- Aspiring authors: what are you working on😁?
- Published authors: where can we buy your books🤩?
Currently working on a series in the like minded sense of Eerie, Indiana - Goosebumps and Are You Afraid if the Dark?
