To Simon, money was the answer to all his problems. Suddenly he was cooler, funnier, older. Not that he spent much on himself - As far as I could tell all he brought was some clothes and that pair of Sky Monsters. But he sure loved buying stuff for Eddie and Nick and the others. Young kids. Old kids. All they had in common was that they wanted to be his friend. And spend his money.
