Eerie Indiana and Eggs

My pupper dug up a hen's egg (with red lion stamp)! It was buried on a grass roundabout, in the courtyard we share with 3 other houses. Stranger still, the two of the neighbours told me they had also found eggs buried in flower pots and beds around the courtyard. Who/what buries eggs?

One theory is that it is a fox, but where is he getting store bought eggs?? I asked the guy next door if he was trying to grow chickens but he denies it.

I just don't understand what is going on. What's the point in burying eggs???

This is like a Round The Twist storyline. There's got to be some magical and creepy reason.

I loved that show as a kid. Along with Eerie Indiana.
