The bad news is, as far as his best friend is concerned, it's the worst thing that could ever happen.

On my gosh Simon is gonna be so broke when he gets back to his proper timeline! I remember getting £50 for my birthday when I was ten and I was the richest ever, those cheques are gone as fuck!

Oh, yeah. And Marshall “I’d never held $100 before” Teller is unlikely to much help here. (And there’s a reason even adult Dash has limited access to the joint accounts (particularly after this incident .)

This is another one I’m thinking about continuing because, man, that spending spree is going to be epic and hilarious.

Oh please do, if only for the hilarious amount of tat cluttering up the apartment when the adults get back to their proper timeline!!

The aftermath of Zombies in PJs will look tame by comparison! And even if their adult selves can return some/most of the stuff, making those decisions is going to be agony, because so much of it still going to seem pretty cool.

I also woke up with an idea for a scene in which Marshall asks his adult self some very pointed questions involving Dash and feelings (and certain words Marshall doesn’t say) and refuses to take deflection for an answer, which is a showdown that will be both cringey and glorious.

Oh God that scene will be so glorious, and involve so much awkward sweating, both in universe for the characters and in the real world for the readers!!
