Beautiful People, I am not usually the person who runs any kind of event on here, but i LOVE this event it's my favourite of the year so I've decided that I WILL be running it even if we end up spilling over into January. It's the unoffical eerie advent because i have not been sanctioned by the mods that be. I'm a cowboy.

Eerie Indiana Advent Calendar is a simple, low stakes event to help get those juices flowing and make some stuff! It's simple stuff. Sign up, get prompts, fill prompts, post fic. That's it!

So here is The Rules:

If you would like to Sign Up: Comment below
If you would like to leave a prompt: Comment on someone's sign up post.
You don't have to sign up to leave a prompt.

Prompts DO NOT have to be holiday specific.
This event is for BOTH Eerie, Indiana and Eerie, Indiana: The Other Dimension.

Posting:

Posting usually takes place from the start of December until the 24th, but since we're starting late and I'm a chill mod, let's say that posting will go until New Years. Or literally whenever they're done. I love reading fanfiction and I don't care.
Post...Wherever you usually post fanfiction and leave a link to the prompt fill in the prompt comment. There is a collection on a03 if you would like to post there (my first collection so please let me know if I've made a mistake)

It's been a wild December full of excellent Eerie fic! So far, the Advent collection on AO3 has 26 works across both Original Flavor Eerie and ToD. You can read those here.

While technically Advent ends today, this is a super relaxed challenge and you can keep writing for as long as you have prompts to fill!

Thank you to all who wrote, read, commented, and so on, for filling our holiday with so much Eerie!

It's that time of year again! The Eerie Advent Calendar 2023 is Underway!

1. Posting is now open! You are free to post your Advent fills whenever between now and the 25th!

2. While this runs over the course of Advent, nothing has to be holiday themed and if it is holiday themed it's not required to be Christmas - any winter holiday is fair game.

3. You can still sign up and/or prompt! This is a low stakes event, you are free to sign up if you still want to or just give those who have signed up some prompts. The sign up/prompt post is here

4. If you are posting on AO3, I've created a collection so we can put them all in one place, you can find that here

5. We would LOVE if you want to cross post links to your fic here as well! If you don't have a Dreamwidth Account, you can post anonymous or Open ID comments in response to this post.
