"How Victorian Mansions Became the Default Haunted House": https://t.co/GyQLZa2VaN A great piece, though I'd like to see a followup on how American suburbs became (for me, anyway) the hands-down creepiest horror location ever. Probably: John Carpenter

Related: How the X-files made all American small towns, formerly the sites of Einsenhowerian charm, seem like nothing but a constellation of death cults and cuckoo's-nest creepitude

I grew up in England watching a show called Eerie Indiana so America was always a strange place to me, so strange I had to come here and see for myself

Hey I still remember Eerie Indiana on Disney. That was like a mini xfiles the Chicago fire episode got me good when I was a kid

Thanks for everything- since Strange Luck.#ZNation was, is and forever will be special. While being sad about its end I'm looking forward to what comes next. Good luck. And have mercy.

PS: Forgot to mention Eerie, Indiana. One of my 1st jobs as a writer was working on an essay and guide for its DVD release here. So many ties. Again; thank you!

It was the German DVD-premier, a 3-disc-set in a slipcase with a 28-pages-booklet incl. an extensive episode guide. It was one of my early works in that field but I'm still proud of it.#EerieIndiana #booklet #Fernsehjuwelen pic.twitter.com/ryMTOQVbC9

The more I think about it, the more it reminds me of the last episode of #EerieIndiana: I cannot complain about the way it went out. I can only be sad that it's gone. https://t.co/UBRVtN4HB7

At some point I should translate the booklet to English since I had a few requests about that over the years. My only regret; wasn't on Twitter & would've tried to reach out & talk to some of the great people behind #EerieIndiana. Maybe I should go back 2 it for the re-release.

Oh my gosh a translated and updated version with input from the cast and crew would be amazing! #eerieindiana

Haha. Don't dare me. The idea already grows on me. #EerieIndiana

A big thanks to @UnrealKarl for inviting @makebelievekyle & @makebelieveeric to be zombies on the season finale of @znation! It was a pleasure coming up and dining on flesh with you! pic.twitter.com/pqAxipePRb
