Ok random theory cuz I’m thinking about Dash X as per usual XD
But what if his knowledge of pop culture was because he was a character from another tv show who got transferred randomly through different channels and shows because his own tv show was canceled and then he somehow ended up in Eerie’s universe? It could explain why there isn’t really another version of him in the other universe that we see in the show and the reason why he wanted to take over Marshall’s role. Even if he couldn’t remember why, maybe the fear of cancelation was still in his subconscious?
I’m definitely reaching here but it’s fun to think about lol
