so the other night I watched this slasher/murdery ghost film called blood night: the legend of mary hackett, because danielle harris. and it was really bad. but all the way through I kept thinking about how good I wanted it to be, and now im here.
write me a slasher film based in eerie. the whole thing - the jump scares, the empty corridors of an abandoned building, flickering fluorescent lights and echoing footsteps in an otherwise silent space. a tall figure soaked in blood half seen in the moonlight streaming through a dirty window. teens slipping and stumbling in their own blood to escape an unseen pursuer. the character that is so clearly set up to be the killer that the audience cant tell if its a red herring or a double bluff. and of course, the baddie has to have a not-quite-dead moment near the end.
