eerieindianaDer dreizehnjährige Marshall Teller ist mit seiner Familie von New Jersey nach Eerie, Indiana gezogen. Auf den ersten Blick scheint es das normalste Kaff der Welt zu sein, doch schon bald bemerkt Marshall, dass hier irgend etwas nicht stimmt. Bei genauerem Hinsehen passieren die verrücktesten Dinge in Eerie: Frauen, die ihre Kinder nachts in Vakuumbehälter packen, damit sie jung bleiben, Werwölfe, sogar Elvis Presley lebt in Marshalls Nachbarschaft! Die einzige Person, die ihm glaubt, ist sein neuer Freund, der zehnjährige Simon Holmes. Gemeinsam beschließen sie den verrückten Dingen in Eerie auf den Grund zu gehen und führen Tagebuch, in der Hoffnung damit irgendwann die Welt wachzurütteln.
"Eerie, Indiana" ist eine familienfreundliche und verrückte Unterhaltung aus dem Jahr 1992 à la "Gänsehaut" und somit auf ein durchaus jüngeres Publikum ausgerichtet. 'Eerie' im Titel der Serie bezieht sich übrigens nicht nur auf die fiktive Stadt in Indiana sondern auf das englische Wort - dort bedeutet 'eerie' soviel wie gruselig oder unheimlich. Von Markus Haage Medien (richtig, das ist der aus dem "Zombie Magazin") in Kooperation mit Birnenblatt erscheint "Eerie, Indiana" nun im 3-Disc-Mediabook, welches auf nur 333 Stück limitiert ist. Aber Achtung, die Serie ist dabei lediglich auf DVD enthalten. Mit zum Lieferumfang gehört ein 36seitiges Booklet, Vorbestellungen können ab sofort aufgegeben werden. Release-Datum ist der 31. Januar 2018.

On closer scrutiny, the craziest things happen in Eerie: Women who pack their children in vacuum tanks at night to keep them young, werewolves, even Elvis Presley lives in Marshall's neighborhood! The only person who believes him is his new friend, the ten-year-old Simon Holmes. Together they decide to go to the bottom of the crazy things in Eerie and keep a diary, hoping that at some point the world will rouse.

By the way, ' Eerie ' in the title of the series refers not only to the fictitious city in Indiana but to the English word-there ' Eerie ' means so much as creepy or scary. by Markus Haage Media (right, that's the one from the Zombie magazine) in cooperation with pear leaf, "Eerie, Indiana " Now appears in the 3-disc Mediabook, which is limited to only 333 pieces. But beware, the series is only included on DVD. The scope of delivery includes a 36seitiges booklet, pre-orders can be placed immediately. Release date is January 31, 2018.
So, no blu-ray, but a new DVD release with a 36 page booklet and amazing comic book style cover art... released in German? What the hell. This is like when Germany got Kim Possible and the fuzzy felts moomins and it never got any other R2 release.
