Do not trust a guy with a ponytail whose first name is "The". Let's watch Zombies in PJs while basking in the glow of that really cool lamp they made in the shape of some guy on your paper route.

This one's not one of my faves, just because it's such an overused theme, and it's not particularly strong on going into character development; but I do enjoy the insanity - Rene, Astin and Jason Marsden going ham in the advert, the ridiculous twist at the end, and Dash slapping Mars: 'Thanks, I needed that!'

The jingle is so ridiculously catchy. They really did a good job of creating one of those terrible, terrible commercial songs that get stuck in your head forever.

I think I may re-watch this one on every Black Friday weekend from now on. It really is in the spirit of the holiday.

I often wonder if I should have paid more attention to this episode as a cautionary tale. Because now I pretty much do all my shopping in my pjs at weird hours of the morning. Of course, technology has moved on in the meantime, and I don't have to leave the house now.

Everybody wants the definite article in front of their name: "the Marshall" and "the Simon." Of course, very soon thereafter Marshall's worried about this guy, while Simon is just so thrilled about Mr. Radford’s imaginary vacation and yacht.

John Astin has some of the best line deliveries in this episode. The "No" series when we first see him, and he sounds so truly upset at, “It’s people like you who ruin the shopping experience for everyone else.” There's another one later on, "Couldn’t I just go straight to hell instead?”

I also love how Dash's “What’s in it for me?” echoes Marshall's “What’s in it for you?” from just a little bit earlier.

Somebody in one of the earlier rewatch posts talked about the possibility of Dash/Syndi, and I wonder what if now. After all, “That Vanna White guy on the commercial is kind of cute.”

“It’s as if his mental underpants were showing” Edgar and Marilyn get some fun scenes here. Especially Marilyn on the counter with the plastic blaster thing, coupled with Marshall's overly parental, "Mom, get down from there, you’ll get hurt!"

I like how we don't just have random extras in the background, but we get the zombified basketball team, at least one Foreverwear lady, the twins...

Double faceplant directly into the bowls of cereal!

Simon is very enthused about a lamp just for some guy on Marshall's paper route.

I can't remember how many rewatches it took me before I caught the part where the Mall sign on the bus turns to Hell.

I love that Dash has both a ponytail and the full Donald outfit, except the shoes, for some reason.
