so at some point in the future, mars abandons trying to convince the world of the existence of all things weird and unexplainable and instead turns his childhood experiances into a series of (novels/short story collections/whatever)
and later generations in eerie are actually using them as research material and how-to guides in their own battles against the forces of weirdness
and like, all the characters from the show are there, but very much told from marshalls perspective n probably edited a little for dramatic effect/creative license/driving the story, because mars is kind of an unreliable narrator
also.bonus if you actually have the peeps from the show appear in cameos,like.older dead grumpy mars whose all bitter because nobody believed him, or simon being like, I was never that naive, or whatevs.
