I’ve been thinking of expanding my government agent!Janet au by adding Dash X to a future fic inspired by some of the battery!Dash fics pioneered by @EerieIndianaLJ....Like here’s what I’m imagining:

Some time in the future, Janet and her department of temporal disruptions encounter a sort of reoccurring glitch that means a tachyon portal is in use, a highly illegal and dangerous object to be out of the hands of the government so they send two teams to go investigate...They don’t come back so they send Janet and her partner Mattie O’Brien (from the doctor Blake mysteries) to investigate. They arrive close to Eerie at an underground base like...ok...and once they’re inside a series of slamming doors seperate the two and push Janet into a room where there is a GLADOS-esque dude trapped and hooked up by wires on the back of his hands seemingly powering the place. Giant screens illuminate around her casting a harsh unnatural light on her face. An avatar of Dash X shows himself. Turns out Dash has been able to somehow take control of the electricity and functionality of the building he has been powering. The building is controlled by some kind of alien hunting off shoot group (?) and he killed his captors by locking them in a room and cutting of the ventilation. They had a bunch of leaked files, including Janet and Mattie’s respective employee files so he knew he would be able to figure out a way to reach out to her for help.
