Not really much more than a thought in my head at this point, but I've cancelled going to see parents at the weekend in favour of drawing a Dash art based on a photo that Jason posted a while back.

Well, okay. There's other reasons I'm not going back to see the 'rents but wanting to draw factors into it....

I guess this counts as tonight's WIP: I just realized if I combine most of the outfit from this year's Joyce Byers costume with Susan Sto Helit's raven and the Sandman's Key to Hell, I have a kind-of, sort-of accidental Marshall cosplay. Except for the hair.

I need to figure out where to buy an appropriate '90s wig.

Also, different jeans.

I was talking to someone about ugly 90s jeans for halloween costumes and we were like HAHA BET THEY;RE IN CHARIRTY SHOPS and then we went and... no. just loads of actually really nice clothes for cheap, but they FAILED me on the ugly 90s jeans front

It's in an asymmetrical pixie cut right now, so if I was willing to live with it in real life, I'd have to spend a few months growing one side and the back out, and then find somebody willing to cut it that way on purpose...

Then again, it could be an interesting challenge for the students at the beauty school I go to.

Finding '90s-style men's jeans that will actually fit me may be the much more difficult quest.

That haircut sounds awesome and also way too nice to spoil in order to have to live with the 90s boy hair which was, lets be honest, a failed mullet. can hairdressers refuse to cut a style on moral grounds? it might set a precedent.

Finding jeans in general, pfft. I lived in skirts from being about ten because i was always too tall to find trousers that fit, and once puberty kicked in i was just like, nope, done, skirts forever. These days theres a lot more choice availabnle online but i still just look at them and go "nah" and head for the dresses

With the resurgence of all things 90s, the last thing I want to do is accidentally start a trend.

I know! I wish was in a headspace where I wanted to wear skirts/dresses more often, because I know every time I go shopping for pants of any sort, it's more likely to end in tears than in successful acquisition of pants.

Yeah, I'm totally okay with slap bracelets making a comeback but I had this horrible layered failure of a haircut that I just never want to see on another human being. Also, the weird hemp sweatshirts with the tribal designs on them. There s a shop in town that still sells all that stuff and its been in business for like... at least as long as Ive been old enough to pick my own clothes, and i really want to know who is keeping them in business at this point. So. Much. Tassells.
