Welcome welcome to our first ever Comm rewatch of Eerie, Indiana's equally short lived spin-off: Eerie, Indiana: the Other Dimension! Join us as we follow Mitchell Taylor and Stanley Hope on their quest to understand the weirdness of their home town!

Episode 10: Perfect

Just a few ground rules:

  • Remember, comments section will have spoilers for the episodes we're watching.

  • No bashing of characters, ships, or actors.

  • No bashing of the show itself. It's not Original Flavor Eerie, but we all know that going in. Critique is fine, but no outright hate.

  • Play nice and have fun!

(I swear I will get caught up soon... One day when you least expect it there'll be a bajillion replies to posts and comments xD)

I think is was Deifire who pointed out once that Mitchell seems younger than Marshall and that effects his relationship to his family. I think that's bang on the money. At the start of this episode in particular he feels way more like 13 going on 14 than 14 going on 15.

First member of the Taylor extended family to be mentioned. Aunt Gladis. Or Gladys. However you spell it.

This feels like the sister episode of Foreverware, but yeah another episode I don't see taking place in Eerie 92. These later episodes overall feel a lot sillier than they did at the start of the series. I wonder why that is

Mitchell/Bill's hair looks better in this episode than it usually does.

Not sure if this is interesting or not, but the two female antagonists of TOD, Dolly and Agnes were from Eerie originally, but have returned after some time. does that mean anything? doubt it.

I don't want to be too harsh on Lindy Booth since TOD was her second acting job and I think she's pretty talented but I really don't get what she was going for on this show at all.

Another episode where the threat is not supernatural, as much as it is people misusing technology.

I feel like all the things being critiqued in this episode are still relevant.

for two guys who were totally baffled by girls - MITCHELL TAYLOR I KNOW WHAT YOU ARE

One thing about Mitchell Taylor is that he's gonna find a reason to dress up.

The sequence of Kari breaking the mask is actually so good like it's not even funny. I know it's what everyone remembers about TOD but like. It's really that good.

every woman needs a gay man who is offensively in love with her like gary is for dolly. thats the only way to find true happiness i fear.
