I was eager to watch Friday night’s panel with Danielle Harris, as she’s one of my favorite scream queens but hasn’t been doing as many conventions or horror movies lately. She talked about her appearances in the Halloween franchise at length, including what she dislikes about Rob Zombie’s Halloween 2. The discussion spanned her entire career, including Hatchet 2 and 3, Roseanne, Boy Meets World, and Among Friends. She also revealed that she’s writing a movie about kick-ass final girls. The most memorable moment was when a fan’s question about Eerie, Indiana prompted Harris to admit to losing her virginity to Omri Katz (best known for his role in Hocus Pocus).

I found that bit on video. It wasn't even a question about Omri; it was about the knife thing!

Apparently, after Omri she went on to date Eric Balfour.

And, wow, she looks good.

I think the guy asking that question remembered it as n actual knife, not a pencil, judging by how shocked he sounds when she's like, "no, that was me."

She's into people playing in the weirdness biz, clearly. And I agree, she looks amazing!

I'm now pondering a plotbunny in which Melanie Monroe moves to Haven and hooks up with Duke Crocker.

And is also somehow immortal.

I really, really hope the final girls project she talks about at the end of the interview becomes a real thing, because I would love to watch that!

Immortal, or maybe just has multiple cloned bodies that she jumps into when the old one takes on too much damage...

IKR, that final girls thing sounds SO GOOD, I would totally go see that at a real cinema if it got a release near me.
