He has all the published volumes and when the published changes the cover/size he gets annoyed because it doesn't go with the earlier versions. He starts moaning about it in front of Simon one day, realises what he's done and backtracks in the least convincing way imaginable.

There's a lot of Simon making some non-committal noise to acknowledge the subject change, and buries his face in a magazine to hide his smile.
