In other news, I know what I want to be for Halloween. Since there are two main nights for celebration (Saturday and Wednesday), I have two costume ideas.

I have to get a wig that's white and spikey, and find someone with a spare trench coat (possibly, and hopefully from Brian). And I have the rest, and that will make me DASH X from one of my favourite shows as a lass, Eerie Indiana :)

Yet another highlight from #rhodeisland #comiccon: Zombie Dash X with the man who played the real one, the very talented and kind @jasonmarsden (photo credit). If you had told me last year when I first got the idea for the cosplay, that I would have the privilege of meeting this gentleman not once, but three times—at my last (for now) con in TN, first con in RI, and that one time I ran off to PA in the middle of trying to finish a certain document—during the year the Eerie zombies debuted, I would have considered that highly improbable. It’s been a long, weird, and sometimes wonderful 2018.

So happy to have done so and to have met so many people who remember the show or who just think the zombies are neat.

“Bunch of savages in this town.” Another highlight from #rhodeislandcomiccon: Meeting Brian “Dante Hicks” O’Halloran, star of a couple of flicks I have watched approximately 3,700 times and counting.

Signed zombie Clerks print is now gracing the entrance to my kitchen. (It occurs to me now that this would have been even more perfect if I had been wearing the character from New Jersey that day. Oh, well.)
