Just reading this the second time through, and you're still breaking my heart (I need that terrible YOU'RE TEARING ME APART LISA! gif but I don't have it saved on this laptop) but I just have to say, I love the bit about how jacked up Justin is compared to Simon, and the fact that Timmy Horton's survives the apocalypse. Or maybe the rest of Canada ascends to a better place and Timmy's is rejected, depending on your take on them.

I have kind of an odd obsession with Tim Hortons, which does not exist where I am and it pains me, and leaving them all behind just seemed like the kind of touch you'd have in any apocalypse orchestrated by the forces of weirdness. At least when I'm writing it.
