to the spirit of the '60s being seen in the 1969 film of Easy Rider. While

His name was Marshall Teller, he used to live in New Jersey across the river from New York. It was polluted and full of crime and he loved it. But his parents wanted a better life for he and his sister so they moved to a wholesome and squeaky clean place. Sure his new hometown may look normal enough but nothing could be further from the truth. Just underneath the surface Eerie Indiana is the center of weirdness for the entire planet. Don’t believe him? He spent three decades proving this truth. In the early 1990’s TV creators Jose Rivera and Karl Schaefer joined forces with Joe Dante, the director behind films like Gremlins and The Howling. They were inspired by the success of Twin Peaks to tackle their own show about a small American town plagued by weirdness, but their creation would be something completely different from anything else on television. Premiering on NBC in 1991 Eerie Indiana was about the weirdest town in America and the two boys determined to get to the bottom of it.

My first union job was Eerie, Indiana. While working for Scott on a movie of the week, his assistant Terry Blythe cut a pilot presentation on which I assisted him. The pilot got picked up by CBS. Terry got in the union as an editor, and I got in as an assistant.

Someone help me remember if this is from Eerie Indiana or Goosebumps TV show? There was an episode about I think some magical shoes and a kid leaps and goes "Check out my hang time!"
Does anyone remember this? I can't seem to find it. I just remember the slow motion jump and thinking at the time that that part was so hilariously corny. But mad respect for the episode and series; I loved all things Goosebumps/Eerie Indiana/AYAOTD!

A kid moves to the strange town of Eerie only to be confronted with several extraordinary and increasingly ridiculous scenarios. Dogs talked, Elvis showed up, and by the end, the characters were breaking the fourth wall. It was ahead of its time.
