Eerie Indiana was cancelled before it ever got a Christmas episode. However, it did get two Christmas-themed tie-in novels - one for the original series, and one for Eerie Indiana: the Other Dimension.

Apple TV+ is an upcoming subscription video on-demand service provided by Apple Inc. Since we're on the cusp of Apple TV+'s launch, we can't help but look at all they have in store for audiences and potential subscribers. Right now, the service has original programming starring the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carrell, Jason Momoa, Oprah Winfrey, and Reese Witherspoon.

But something worth paying attention to as well is Apple TV+'s inclusion of some youth-oriented programming. Coming soon is a Ghostwriter reboot and a new Charlie Brown series called Snoopy in Space. Now, if Apple TV+ is looking to benefit from the demand for nostalgic revivals, then they should look to reboot these ten other classic shows for kids.

A teen named Marshall Teller is uprooted from his comfortable life in New Jersey and moved to the small town of Eerie, Indiana. The population is barely 16,000, and something's not quite right about this place.

When supernatural occurrences then plague Marshall's life, he and his new friend Simon swoop in to solve the mystery. This short-lived NBC property was unique among its peers because it was self-aware and never shied of being plain weird. Although we already got a sequel series, Eerie, Indiana: The Other Dimension in 1998, a new and kookier reboot would be keen.

At the risk of sounding like a hipster, only 90's kids will probably remember the American television series Eerie, Indiana. The series has a resurgence on the internet briefly in the early 2010s, with many adults reminiscing on how unsettling the series was, without being able to place exactly why.

The nineteen episode show followed Marshall Teller, a teen who moves to the ghostly town of Eerie, Indiana. Throughout the show, Marshall and his only somewhat normal friend Simon encounter many strange scenarios.

Such creep-tastic themes in the show include urban legends, evil dogs, doppelgangers, and a whole lot of self-aware meta action. Marshall's dream sequence in "The Dead Letter" is a noteworthy disturbing scene. Eerie, Indiana is yet another children's series that feels more like David Lynch than anything else.

Show about a town where weird paranormal things keep happening

I'm guessing it was airing about 15 years ago but I wouldn't be surprised if it was much older or newer than that. It was probably a Canadian show. I don't have any evidence for that except that I'm Canadian and a lot of the really weird cartoons I saw growing up were from here.

I only remember one episode, where individual people keep getting stuck in loops a couple seconds long. For example, one of the main characters was buying something from (I think) the school cafeteria, and pays in cash. The person at the register says "here's your change" and hands some money back, but gets caught in one of these loops. Immediately after handing over the money, they say "here's your change" again and hands over even more. This keeps going until the main character's friend drags them away, scolding them for taking advantage of this weird thing going on.

Every episode it was a different paranormal thing, and if I remember correctly it never effected the main characters? But I'm unsure about that.

Any ideas?
