Yesterday was both midsummer's eve and a full moon, which last sort-of happened in 1967. This is a quick snippet of what that night may have looked like in Eerie.

Not gonna lie, guys; this is easily one of my top five. I still get really happy when I see Stephen Root in anything, purely because seeing him makes me think of this episode. Without further delay, prepare yourself for the amazing awesomeness of... Mr. Chaney!

Hey guys, don't forget that the Autumnal Equinox takes place this Wednesday, 23rd September,and the Harvest Moon is a week tomorrow, September 28th. Eerie's not due a Harvest King sacrifice til 2018, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be suspicious if the townsfolk challenge you this a threshing contest out in the corn field next Sunday.

If Eerie had a coat of arms, what do you reckon it would look like?

I think it would have a jackalope and a bigfoot (with pink hairbow) rampant on either side of the shield, maybe two crossed ears of corn over the top and the motto would be a Latin translation of something along the lines of "statistically the most normal place in the country." Or, "peaceful, average, normal". I don't know if you can have a Latin version of "all-American".

The shield itself would be divided into quarters and the images would be Elvis, a dairy cow (but a terrifying one, like the poo-brained horse or that fucking deer with the hands from Adventure Time), a tornado and the tags that say "Lost" on them from Bureau of Lost.

And bigfoot and the jackalope would have, respectively, a plus and a minus on their flanks, where MLP have their cutie marks.

If you want to ensure good luck, low taxes, and a high yield crop, better slap a goofy looking hat on the nearest male over 13, and pretend they were headed for a Spanish vacation come the harvest. It's time to buy a ticket for the Eerie, Indiana Harvest King lottery and wait for the Eerie Wolf to make an appearance.
