diiejso: I can remember watching a show when I was younger that I've never been able to figure out what it was. The details are hazy but I believe the premise was a girl and father moved from a city to run a gas station in some very small town and she would investigate weird happenings. Like Eerie Indiana somewhat but with a girl lead. I think she had red hair. Every once in awhile I'll think about it and for a few days it bothers me that I can't remember the name.

God, I miss the golden days when there was 20+ different cartoon shows and they were all on repeat.

Only live action I watched was Goosebumps and Eerie Indiana. I couldn't get into the Disney live action stuff, it just wasn't entertaining enough.

Last night I finished watching #SoWeird on #DisneyPlus. I don’t grow up with this show and only saw a few season 3 episodes almost 20 years ago when I was on a family vacation at a resort in 2001 (before my mom finally got cable or satellite in the house in 2004). A spooky, sophisticated show that I am surprised that #DisneyChannel made in comparison to the shows they would make later on. #CaraDeLizia was a great lead in the first two seasons as #FiPhillips. The first two seasons were pretty great as a whole, season three while still enjoyable, just didn’t have the same zeal. The showrunners for the first two seasons left after season two and #AlexzJohnson as #AnnieThelen, gave a good effort as the new lead, it was her first TV show acting role after all, that’s a lot of pressure. The show is very reminiscent of #Goosebumps and #EerieIndiana, TV shows that delve into sci-fi, horror and supernatural stuff. I enjoyed the music, too, sung by #MackenziePhillips, too bad a soundtrack was never released. #DisneysSoWeird #DisneyChannelOriginalSeries #DisneyChannelshows #ZoogDisney

I really like "So Weird." The scripts are good and the actors have nice talent. You really can get caught in with it, and any fans the old "Eerie Indiana" show, would like it as much as I do.

Well I just got Disney Plus and couldn’t believe my luck when I stumbled across this gem from my childhood.

Growing up I loved anything spooky such as Eerie Indiana or Are You Afraid of the Dark, So Weird definitely fits in that category.

So Weird was the story of young girl named Fi, travelling across the country with her rock star mum. On their cross country tour she encounters many paranormal experiences from ghosts to aliens, yet all she really wants is to hear from her deceased father.

I watched episode one last night and still really enjoyed it.

I'm just confused because they took the second season down out of nowhere, and it's been two weeks. Support has given people multiple reasons as to why it happened.

Two siblings, a boy and a girl. The boy's name is Sam. They find a board game in an attic, I think.

You can go inside the game and there's a population thing in it. When you go into the game, the population increases. The girl says, "That's evil, Sam."

A different episode:

A girl wants to look like the mannequin she sees in a store. She wants to be "pretty" just like the mannequin. She has a crush on this cute guy. Her wish comes true but she also starts becoming exactly like a mannequin, she's unable to move. She sees her crush in a wheelchair and it was sort of implied that the guy wished for it too. In the end, they both become mannequins displayed in that same store.

I think I remember that each episode starts with a girl sitting in an office or a study and she tells the story. And then there's this light bulb thing at the beginning too. And also... I think there was a globe? Or maybe it looked like a kid's version of Universal pictures.

The intro for Eerie, Indiana had an old desk and light and also showed a globe I believe, but it was a boy not a girl. Here's some anthology series to look over and see if it triggers your memory.
