HAPPY BIRTHDAY, EERIE INDIANA!

Today is the day!

25 years ago, on September 15, 1991, Eerie Indiana premiered! Granted, I did not watch this series during its original run, but later in the 90s on Fox Kids - still, though, have to mark the anniversary of my favorite TV series of ALL TIME. Not to mention Marshall Teller is probably my favorite TV character, if not favorite overall fictional character EVER.

If you’ve never watched Eerie but you’re a fan of, say, Stranger Things, do yourself a favor and GO WATCH IT. NOW.

I’m off to rewatch the first episode “Foreverware” before I go to bed~ If any of you are still on LJ, the eerie_indiana community is doing a full rewatch to commemorate this!

Hi everyone!
So this is the drabble that kicked off what my cousin and I now refer to as Eerie season 3!verse (it's named such because it's a 3-year time skip after "Reality Takes a Holiday" - far too long to be season 2). The premise is this - Dash, having disappeared for a while after RTAH, returns with no more knowledge about his origins, & this lack pretty much has driven him to the brink of insanity. When he's not wreaking havoc on the streets of Eerie, he's either hanging with Simon (he stays at Simon's house on & off) or poking the hornet's nest known as Marshall Teller, who straddles that fine line himself. Basically this is mine & Jackie's personal canon post-series.

All of these drabbles were all previously posted on my old LJ, which I am in the process of deleting - I figured permanently posting them here would be better! I'll post one a day until I'm done.

So I got this idea the other day, while lying in bed trying to fall asleep, and for once I didn't forget the idea after I woke up the next day! MIRACLE OF MIRACLES. And it has been ages since I've really written anything, so I wanted to get this out and into the world.

My Eerie muse has come back to me! So now, I bring you fic. :)

Summary: It wasn't the first time Mars had woken up in some bizarre parallel universe... but this might be the weirdest yet. Especially when Dash is the normal one.
Disclaimer: Last time I checked, I didn't own Eerie. Not yet.
A/N: Part of me and my cousin's s3!Eerie-verse (the other drabbles are in my masterpost under the untitled!verse heading). It began with a discussion about Marshall's love of cornflakes and totally got out of control from there. Also, this has been many months in the making, and it's still unfinished-- I just don't know how to resolve this particular plot is all. *shrug*

Mars, to say the least, was confused.
