Day 10 : America’s Scariest Home Video - “Stuck having to baby-sit Simon's younger brother on Halloween, Marshall and Simon fool around with their video camera. Eerie, Indiana: In "Scariest Home Videos", Simon's younger brother Harley bites the remote control while watching Bloody Revenge of the Mummy's Curse. As Marshall and Simon had hooked a video camera up to the television, Harley switches place with the film's star Sir Boris von Orloff. Harley becomes trapped in the film while Sir Boris enters the real world.

5) Eerie, Indiana - “America’s Scariest Home Video”

One of my favorite one season wonders, this show capitalized on the early 90’s trend of kids wanting to be scared or otherwise presented with odd stuff. I’m sure there’s some correlation between these shows and the advent of Tim Burton’s work.

The episode is kind of a let down because it’s a bottle show. 90% of the action takes place in one location as the primary characters get stuck at home on Halloween night. I can only imagine what awesome specials the show may have presented had it made it past one season. Too beautiful to live.

Bonus Points for kids egging stuff and a mummy.

Started off my dvd day with the Halloween ep of Eerie Indiana then moved on to Goosebumps and the Fred Savage classic Little Monsters.

Next up, The People Under The Stairs, April Fools Day, Scream and American Horror Story.
